Proximity Flying Between Skyscrapers for a Brand Built on Speed

When Korea Telecom (KT) set out to showcase the ultra-fast capabilities of its new 5G network, it didn’t rely on animation or green screen. It chose reality. The campaign featured real skydivers proximity flying between the skyscrapers of Dubai Marina, captured in a single breathtaking descent—combining speed, skill, and high-altitude choreography.

Prime Consultants AMG was brought on board to plan and supervise the entire stunt operation, ensuring both spectacle and safety at every level.

The Concept - Proving 5G Speed Through Human Flight

The idea was bold: demonstrate KT’s 5G performance by mirroring its speed and agility through one of the world’s most dangerous aerial disciplines—proximity flying. Skydivers launched from a helicopter, descended rapidly between the iconic towers of Dubai Marina, and executed precise maneuvers in a narrow urban corridor.

As lead stunt consultants and safety coordinators, Prime Consultants AMG managed:

• Flight Path & Safety PlanningDesigned detailed descent trajectories between high-rise buildings, accounting for wind tunnels, urban thermals, and potential deviation margins.

• Proximity Flying Risk ManagementAssessed proximity distances from structures, executed rehearsals with tracking software, and supervised all jumpers with real-time safety protocols.

• Skydiver & Aerial CoordinationSelected and trained a specialized team of world-class wingsuit flyers and camera operators experienced in urban proximity work.

• Aviation & Airspace LogisticsCoordinated helicopter drops, secured regulated airspace in a high-density zone, and liaised with Dubai Civil Aviation and local authorities.
